When I read that students of my favorite NY restaurateur, Daniel Boulud, had opened an outpost on Valencia Street, I didn't know what to think! Upscale French in the Mish? Today we tried it and I have to say, they did it 'parfaît.' The place is understated, not NYC cosmo, more SF chic with a French tude. No complaints! We had a great time - but then my Francophile famille can never get enough French anything...Here's my review (in hReview format, designed by Adam's colleague, Tantek).

★★★ Best Benedicts! Two perfectly poached eggs and a thin slice of tasty, French ham rest on a circle of warm brioche. Drizzled on top is a light, slightly tangy sauce. Seamless! The sophisticated room and great wine list added to the whole experience - Super!
